I'm a big fan of pixel art, so when I came our graphic designer Taylor Ruddle showed off some art he had commissioned by Songoanda. Well, I knew I needed some for Swordsfall! We'll do some fun stuff with them in the future.

So I Taylor had some pixel art done of him by an artist and showed it to me. I was instantly blown away with how fucking crisp the art was. I told him, “I need this person to do Swordsfall pixel art, starting with the Krew”.

Fast forward a bit later and here's an early sketch of the first one, Alara! How fucking cool is that?

Swordsfall

Creator and Author of Swordsfall. He's a longtime omni-nerd who grew up during the classic days of Toonami, TechTV, and Transformers. However, as a black man in the hobby, he found himself longing for more stories that told the adventures of people that looked like him. Creating Swordsfall has not only been an effort to be the change he wanted to see but also as his own personal journey.
