On the western edge of the Southern Hemisphere of Tikor sits a dangerous and unexplored land. The Ebon Cascade. The death and destruction that lives there can’t keep explorers away. What does the tainted land look like?
Exploring a Poison Land
The whole region is tainted with a foul energy. People don’t know where it comes forms, but there have long been rumors that a Wretched One or two are entombed beneath it. (When they were shut away, none of the gods said where. Just that it was where mortal creatures would never find).
The overall palette of the area is a lot of sickly yellow and greens. Disturbing purples and other distorting colors are possible.
Nothing naturally grows in the Ebon Cascade. Everything is lethal. The water is tainted, and everywhere they go is barren. The only creatures that live there are horrible and twisted with no hopes of communicating with. The few bit of flora that does live there is carnivorous and as lethal as any animal.
There have been four expeditions to the Ebon Cascade previously. None of them have been successful, but the burning need to explore is still there. What secrets does the Ebon Cascade hold?
Find out in the upcoming Fifth Ebon Expedition!

The Art

This is my favorite piece of art to date. Not just the color palette, which while subdued is appealing in the shadowy nature, but also the implied dynamic action in the positioning of people.
