The Stewards of the Western Border

  • Art by Tumo Mere

The western section of Garuda a quiet and often dangerous place. But one culture makes its home there, enforcing a border and protecting untold lives. The Dihoma!

The Dihoma of Garuda

The Dihoma are a culture deep in the forest of West Garuda. There’s a section of land in between Enkai the Mountain and the grasslands of Garuda where it’s a just thick and dense forest. The Dihoma live there and dominate the space with full authority.

The Dihoma are wholly devoted to fighting arts of all forms and styles.  The Minos profession are their elite fighting force, acting as the ultimate hammer in any situation. The Deep Forest is where more of the monsters and such live. In a way the Dihoma act as a barrier for that. It’s partly why they’re so focused on fighting. It’s a part of their life.

The Dihoma are fighters in mind, spirit, and body. So they’re not crazy or psycho. It’s like if you took the dedication of a scientist but one who uses their body instead of spreadsheets. They understand the very way combat plays out and flows. Everything from mental strategies to reading body language. Each Dihoma looks and feels like a trained fighter, each a reflection of their favored fighting style.
