Art Drop | Deth, The Unknown Reaper and Saytin the Eternal

Tied by Death

The final art for Deth and Saytin is out! And they look so amazing! Who are Deth and Saytin, you ask? Glad you asked. Welcome to a new pair of iconic characters from Swordsfall!

This time brought to you by the talented Venus Bambisa! Deth and Saytin are an unlikely deathly duo. And frankly, not one Deth signed up for.

Back Story

Deth is one of the most reserved deities in Garuda. His name is known to few. While he’s considered the highest and most powerful of Spirit Deities, he rarely deals with general affairs. Instead, his one purpose is to bring balance to the living and spirit realms, only reaping those whose fate has fallen outside of human hands.

Everything was fine until he came to reap little Saytin. The little girl could not be reaped. And when Deth tried to do so, it was someone else who was struck down. Her fate was so twisted that not even Deth himself could stop it. For some reason, however, Saytin took a liking to the curmudgeon man.

Deth had no interest in a partner, sidekick, or daughter. But Saytin didn’t care, and with him unable to reap her, he couldn’t stop her either. In an odd way, it seemed as if she enjoyed the mishaps that came from the attempts to reap her. Either accidentally or not.

Now she follows Deth along around Tikor, annoyingly so, as he tends to the some of the stranger parts of the spirit realm.

Description

Deth – Older man in his early to mid-40s. Disheveled appearance as if he didn’t look in the mirror when he got ready. The look of a man who doesn’t sleep. 5 o’clock shadow. His eyes have a hollow look to them. He has an aura of death and despair around him.

Saytin – A charming little girl of around 10 years old. She’s extremely adorable and usually has an upbeat attitude. Even when saying awful or disgusting things. She has a mess of wild, naturally curly hair.

She’s essentially immortal, accidents that would fall onto her…hit others instead. There’s no way she hasn’t noticed yet…but she hasn’t said anything about it, or stopped any reckless behavior. Equally as devilish as adorable.
