The silent mech, Ida Shroud, continues to be sculpted. What do the early stages of this stealth mech look like? Come check out the latest concept sketch from Enmanuel Martinez!
The Final Two Shrouds
As I mentioned in the previous update, I really liked the initial choices that Enmanuel made for the Shroud. In this update, he’s taken my choice of favorites from the original concept sketch and worked up some new magic.
This is what he had to say about this second concept sketch.
Hey Brandon, here are the ideas for the shroud, for #1 I thought of some kind of cloaking shields that make him invisible in a certain direction, for #2 Something more of full invisibility and a focus lens that comes down to shoot. Let me know what you think.

I’m about all of these ideas honestly! The cloaking shield was something we mentioned earlier and was the reason I picked my winners from the first concept sketch. It fits the theme of what I want from these sneaky bois.
I’m liking the idea and look of #1, especially the cloak but I’m not super sold on the pose. I think I’d want it to be more dynamic if I was going to use it for the final version.
As far as #2 I like the idea and love the cloak, but I’m not feeling the cross pose. I don’t know, too Modern Warfare? It is still a giant mech after all.
I can’t wait to see what the next update looks like! Which one of the two do you like? Let me know in the comments below!
